I missed posting the last two Fridays because we were in Mexico, but this week I’ve had more time so here is my second “favorite things” post! Some Friday I might be more organized and actually have a theme but today my list is completely random. 🙂
I read the above article recently and I think it makes a lot of sense. It doesn’t mean I’m never going to share articles about what I believe but I do think that some sharing needs to be done with caution. I never want to become a social media debater… I don’t think it does any good and probably actually does a lot of bad.
I made these cookies this week and they are awesome! I usually have a problem with my cookies turning out super flat but these ones turned out nice and chunky. I made them twice, once with old-fashioned oats and once with quick oats and I liked them both ways. I also decided that I like them better without cinnamon. Anyway, I definitely recommend this recipe. Delicious!
Speaking of cookies, now let’s talk about exercise, ha, ha…
So, this workout is amazing. With three different levels, each about thirty minutes, you don’t get bored. I’ve been doing this DVD several times a week for most of the year so far and it still gives me an amazing workout.

If you are a fan of Jane Austen you need to try some of Heyer’s books as well! Most of them are a little faster moving that Austen’s and are so much fun to read. I do think that some are better than others for sure; my personal favorite is Regency Buck.
