Because Pablo works second shift, we often get to do a lot of family activities in the mornings. We especially love visiting different places in and around Dallas. (To see some of the different places we’ve visited check out this post about our staycation!)
This week we visited the Dallas Arboretum! They have a super good deal going on this month (I believe it’s called August dollar days) so we were able to get in really cheap.
I’d been to the Arboretum a couple times years ago but this was the first time for Pablo and the kids. The weather was unusually mild for an August day in Texas so it was the perfect morning to go.
We took our camera along and snapped some pictures. Our camera lens was a little dirty which I realized after the fact (ugh!) but I’m still happy with our pictures regardless of the quality.
We even got a couple pictures altogether as a family thanks to a kind stranger! She’d clearly used a camera before so that was a plus. (Have you ever had a stranger take your picture and it comes out super bad? Haha. You just never know what you’ll end up with.) Anyway, thank you kind stranger!
Here are some more snapshots from our morning at the beautiful Dallas Arboretum. 🙂
And of course we had to attempt a couple selfies!
So thankful for this little family God has given me and the fun memories we are making together.
What have you been up to lately? I’d love to hear from you! 🙂
