June 16th made three years of marriage for Pablo and I! These three years have been amazing! Everyone warns you that the first year can be hard but honestly it was great and it’s only gotten better since then! The credit for that goes to the Lord first and then to Pablo. Seriously you guys, I hit the jack pot with him! He is such a kind and patient man.
We decided to celebrate our anniversary a day late because that’s what worked. Pablo was able to take the day off which was AMAZING and we got a babysitter for three beautiful hours in the middle of the day.
First we got lattes at Due South. If you live in Greenville and have never been there you should check it out! Pablo had never been there so it was fun to go for his first time. It’s located in a random old warehouse. They make fantastic coffee and it’s a fun, unique atmosphere.
After taking some time to sip our lattes and talk about the future (so fun!) we headed to Paris Mountain, the place where we got engaged a little over four years ago! It was so fun to visit the exact spot where Pablo proposed. Such a great memory. Of course we had to take a few pictures!
Thought we’d try to re-create one of our engagement snap shots so that’s why I’m showing off my ring in this next one. 🙂
And of course, we had to take an awkward one because why not?
Finally, we headed to the lake and went kayaking!! It was our first time to do that together and it was so fun and so relaxing! I didn’t take the camera on the boat but of course I had my phone. 😉
That evening we continued celebrating with some take-out from Olive Garden for dinner. We always, always get their Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. Maybe we’re boring but it is SO good.
Anyway, just wanted to share about our happy day. 🙂 That’s all for now!
