Dear Sofia, or “Fofi” as Caleb calls you,
I can’t believe you are one year old already. This year has flown by so fast. At the same time though I can’t believe I’ve known you for only a year because now I can’t imagine life without you.
God knew exactly what he was doing when He gave you to our family. You keep us laughing with your funny faces and your happy, goofy personality. From the moment you were born you’ve seemed in awe of the world, taking everything in with your big dark eyes and cute, surprised expression. It seems so appropriate that your first word after “mama” and “dada” was “wow”.
I’ve so enjoyed watching your little personality develop. You get so excited to see other kids at the park and you love making funny faces at strangers when we’re out shopping. You think your big brother is the greatest and want to do everything he does, including playing with his toys haha.
I love that even though you have lots of energy you like to take breaks to cuddle with Mommy. There’s nothing better than holding you while you suck your cute little wrist and hug your dolly.
Your daddy and I both love you more than I can even explain.
