Hi friends! I couldn’t end baking month here on the blog without a chocolate recipe and this chocolate bundt cake fits the bill perfectly.
After Caleb’s birth a mom from our church brought us this chocolate bundt cake (along with an amazing meal.) The cake was still warm from the oven and it was the.best.thing.ever! Seriously, all new-moms need this cake! Haha.
Of course I had to ask for the recipe and I was amazed to find out that the recipe for this chocolate bundt cake calls for a box mix! I rarely use box mixes for cake (brownies are a different story haha) but trust me, this cake does NOT taste like it came from a box.
The recipe calls for a box of Devil’s Food Cake mix and a box of instant chocolate pudding. A cup of sour cream makes the cake super rich and moist, and chocolate chips add the perfect amount of extra chocolatey-ness.

This chocolate bundt cake is definitely one of my go-to recipes when I want an easy but amazing dessert. I like it just as it is but you could add a favorite frosting or glaze if you wanted to.
Here is the recipe!
