Hi friends!
Since there’s no way I could send a Christmas card out to all of you who read my blog, I thought I’d share a little wrap-up of our year and a few family pictures on here instead.
We had a couple big trips this year. At the end of February we took a trip to Mexico to visit Pablo’s family. See photos from that trip here! Then in May we took a 10 hour road trip down over to Florida for my brother’s wedding. Although it was just a short and sweet trip we still managed a morning at the beach – wow Pensacola beaches are nice!
The best part about our year was welcoming Lucas into our family in July. I shared his birth story here. It was our first time waiting to find out the gender until the birth and it was SO fun being surprised!!
Another big highlight of the year for Pablo and I was being able to get away for two nights in September (with Lucas along as well!) We had so much fun – I’m so grateful we could have that time away!
Caleb turned four this summer. It’s amazing to Pablo and I how quickly he’s growing up. It’s exciting and sad at the same time. (I guess it will always feel that way as parents, huh?)
Caleb is a great big brother and is so good about always wanting to include Sofia. It makes me so happy that the two of them are such good little buddies.
We gave Caleb his first set of Legos at his birthday this year and in the past month or two he’s really gotten into them. It’s so fun to see the creative designs that he comes up with.
Sofia, 2 1/2, is our dramatic, loving, and feisty little girl. She likes to do everything that Caleb does and misses him terribly whenever he’s not around.
Sofia has adored Lucas from the very beginning and loves to mother him, along with her own baby dolls and stuffed animals.
Lucas – 5 months old now – is pretty much my dream baby. Seriously. He’s SUCH a sweet little guy and we enjoy him so much! (I’m sharing the above pics because baby boy wasn’t really in the mood for pictures when we got the rest taken haha.)
When he’s not being held Lucas is generally jumping in his doorway jumper or rolling around on his playmat trying to chew on everything he can reach. He’s also veryyy interested in our food so I know we’ll be letting him try some baby food before too long.
We are so grateful for our three kiddos. They definitely add so much to our lives.
Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
