Looking for things to do at home with your kids this week? You’ve come to the right spot.
Hi friends!
Wow, everything feels a bit surreal right now doesn’t it? I know that none of us expected 2020 to go quite like how it’s going right now. Craziness!
Today I wanted to share some things that will hopefully be helpful during this time when a lot of people are unexpectedly home with their kids.
I was telling a friend the other day that even though I’m normally at home most of my week with my kids, somehow now that I can’t go out I feel so stir-crazy!
So, this post is a bit of a hodge-podge of articles and resources and stuff but I hope it’s helpful and gives you some good ideas for what to do with your kids at home in the coming weeks.

I think we’ve all been experiencing some long days at home with the kids recently. In this article I share some of the things I do to help me (and my kids) when we need a reset.
Other favorite resources here on the web:
I love that Audible is currently making these audio books free while schools are out. I let Caleb start listening to a collection of stories the other day and was surprised at how long he sat quietly. Amazing. So yes, I highly recommend!
This is a great free resource that Scholastic is providing while so many kids are out of school. Caleb and Sofi were both excited to listen to some of the themed stories and lessons last week and I plan to continue using it with them in the coming weeks.
Free Educational Games, Apps, Books, & Programs for Kids During the Quarantine
This is a really great, extensive list if you’re looking for some good resources to use with your kids at home. It’s amazing how many companies are putting out free resources for kids right now. I’m excited to check out more of them myself this week!
How great is this printable? I’ve already printed mine out and plan to fill it out for this week this morning. Making a game plan for all the things you need / want to do with your kids is so helpful.
At Home Adventure Bingo – Free Printable
I love the fun at-home activity ideas on this cute Bingo printable. I can always use more ideas for things to do at home with the kids!
This is a blog that I always recommend for all things motherhood/homeschooling.. There are some really great articles about preschool and kindergarten at home that I’ve found very helpful.
I hope these ideas and resources are helpful and a good starting point for you as you start your week! If you have some great activity ideas or resources for things to do at home with your kids please share with us in the comments!
